Making somebody expose a joker you can take.

If you hold three of a tile, a player who wants a group of them will need a joker to get there. Discard one and they may well call it and cover the rest with a joker.

Now their joker is exposed, sitting on a tile you hold two more of, and you can take it on your turn.

Tip

This is a play for a table you know. Against a player who exposes carefully it costs you a tile and gains you nothing.
