Flowers — eight in the set, and all interchangeable

Flowers are wild in a friendly way: any flower is as good as any other, and several hands ask for a group of them.

joker
The joker — the game's wildcard

Jokers can stand in for tiles inside a group of three or more of the same tile. They can't be used for a single tile or a pair — a rule that quietly shapes a lot of strategy.
